Monkey Fact.....TUESDAY!!?!?!?!?

Hey monkeys (: We recently had another Monkey Fact Tuesday! Check out the cool facts from Snelly!
Hey Monkeys!
It's me, Snelly from MiniMonos Perfect. I'm here to tell you guys an awesome fact!
Did you know that the oldest monkey in the world recorded in captivity, was a black spider monkey, named Buenos? Buenos lived for 53 years! That's bananamazing!
Buenos Sadly, she passed away in 2005. However she lived a happy, stress-free life at the Japan Monkey Centre, near Tokyo.
Did you know that the average spider monkey only lives to about 33 years? That means Buenos lived 20 years more than that! COOL!
I think it's fantastic that Buenos got to live a long and happy life. This makes me wonder who the next worlds oldest monkey is going to be... could be one of the orangutans MiniMonos adopted? Only time will tell!
Best Bananas Monkeys!

Awesome post, Snelly!  I wonder if apes (like our adopted orangutans) and monkeys have similar life-spans?  Maybe one of our MiniMonos monkeys will look it up and let us know! --EcoMom :-)
Awesome Snelly! What do you monkeys think? Leave a comment and let us know!
